• STEM Scholars are selected by a committee to take part in this unique program designed to provide academically talented students financial, academic, and social support.    
  • Interested students must complete a Bridgemont Application for Admissions and take the ACT or SAT by December 1st. 
  • The STEM Scholarship Committee will begin accepting applications in January 2014.  Finalists will be notified by the Scholarship Committee to schedule an interview.
  • Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded based on the economic need demonstrated in a completed FAFSA. 
  • Students must enroll in a STEM Scholar eligible degree program and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
  • STEM Scholars will also participate in summer internships and work closely with industry mentors
  • After graduation, STEM Scholars will be ready to enter a high paying and high demand career in West Virginia with no or little college debt.
